Chef Joe
Chef Joe is an accomplished professional, who started his career as a young man working in his parents’ butcher shop and family restaurants in Albany, NY. After military service abroad, he returned to the restaurant business to resume his career. He honed his skills and styles for decades, garnering many accolades and acclaim, including as the Executive Chef at the prestigious Garden City Hotel in Long Island, NY, frequent reviews in the NY newspapers and radio stations (New York Times, Newsday, Times Union, and Metroland WTEN, “Dining Out on Long Island,” and Bloomingdales’ Celebrity Chef) and various Blue-Ribbon Awards in food display at the International Food Show Competitions. His talents extend to all areas of restaurant and culinary experiences, including food presentation and display, Garde Manger, design of original soups (full-bodied), extraordinary sauces, and delicious baked goods.
The Chef’s accomplished cuisines include Northern and Southern Italian, American, French, Mediterranean, Spanish, and Greek. He is particularly known for creating original Northern Italian pasta and sauté dishes (with a French flair), and for preparing some of the best experiences one will ever eat!
Chef Joe now comes to the Poconos, sharing his passion to deliver to customers a unique and personalized culinary experience. A small dining room ensures excellence in food quality, and nothing is served without the Chef’s inspection.
